New boats: 45m Green Voyager hybrid motor yacht concept by Kingship

Kingship shipyard, one of the top yacht builders in Asia, in a press conference held at the 2009 Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show, announced a new boat concept. Kingship’s Green Voyager 144' is a unique, low impact motor yacht, capable of global cruising, and at the same time offering both luxury and comfort. The hybrid motor yacht can use and store energy from the different sources. A photo-voltaic mounted roof-top provides the yacht with solar energy. Power Management System created by Siemens sends excess energy to the batteries and diligently control its extraction during the day and at night.45m Green Voyager hybrid motor yacht new boat1It has to reduce the power demand by an average of 20%. Kingship could even achieve the highest Platinum level of Green Star Plus. Green Voyager concept has the opportunity to enter protected sea areas with the most exotic and rare cruising grounds of the world. To achieve this, Kingships’ engineers and Axis Designs have worked to increase the hull’s efficiency. The plumb bow is not only practical, but stylish. Green Voyager will be offered with three different propulsion and generating packages. 45m Green Voyager hybrid motor yacht ne boat2The Green Voyager interior by Kingship is one that extends the onboard life not only from the ‘tropical loft cool’ interior to the deck but stretches beyond with fold down balconies to overview the emerald waters on which the yacht rests. Green voyager’s beach house interior consists of 12 full height opening windows giving greater cross ventilation than any yacht to date. Public areas like the salon were conceived to be wide-open when desired to allow full cross-ventilation with no obstructions. Fold down balconies further enhance air flow.

New boats: Couach 5000 Fly yacht by Couach Yachts

Cannes based shipyard Chantier Naval Couach in collaboration with a French artist Jean Pierre Fantini are hardly working on the creation of Couach 5000 Fly yacht. Couach flagship’s 5000 FLY 2 first models under construction are already well advanced. The new boat’s advanced Kevlar-carbon facilitates the yacht to reach a top speed of 30 knots, while having the characteristics to act like a displacement yacht at low speeds, it feature new generation engines 2 x MTU 20 V 4000 / 5 300 HP. Couach 5000 can provide a cruising speed of 12 knots over a transatlantic range of 4000 nautical miles.Couach 5000 Fly yacht new boat imageThe 5000 FLY will be both capable of crossing the Atlantic in 10 days and reaching unequalled speeds for a yacht of its size. Couach 5000 Fly is a semi planned vessel. For the first time, a 50 meter yacht reunites the recognized advantages of composite construction – lightness, agility, speed, strength – and those of aluminum flagships – spacious, stability, sea comfort.
Currently two units of the first 5000 fly are under construction, with the no.1 hull expected to be launched in March 2011.

New boats: 58m Ethereal Sailing Yacht

58 meter Ethereal Sailing Yacht by Royal Huisman Shipyard is based on the legendary 43 meter Juliet yacht, launched 10 years ago. The original team of Royal Huisman Shipyard, Pieter Beeldsnijder (interior design) and Ron Holland Design(naval architecture) collaborated again to create the new boat. During the building were considered the client's desires such as using new technologies to create an energy-efficient and eco-friendly boat.

Up to 10 luxury yacht charter guests can be accommodated overnight, in 3 double and 2 twin bedded cabins, while 12 can be aboard for day sailing.

New boats: Monte Fino S Range by Kha Shing, US

Kha Shing Enterprises Co. Ltd, US based builder of the Monte Fino motor yachts, continues the popular range by the new boats. The Kha Shing right now is hardly working with its neighbor Setzer Design Group on a new 19-meter and 34-meter boats for the Monte Fino S range. The all-new MF-S 112 provides traditional yachting needs with a fresh and refined style. It has three spacious guest staterooms and one master suite across two levels while the crew cabins and lounge are located aft of the engine room. With a beam of 6.9m and a draft of 1.9m, the 112 is ideal for extended cruising and offers top speeds from 16 to 26 knots depending on the selected power option.
