The aft cabin has considerably more headroom than previous offerings and a clever optional air mattress system in the salon eliminates old-fashioned filler cushions on a boat that introduces a space saving power ease forward berth that retracts at the flip of a switch. The Discovery 50 Cat is capable of cruising the world’s oceans in total luxury, certified to the European Recreational Craft Directive Category A (Ocean). Its retracting keel passes from 4m to 9.7m and the transom door can be almost entirely opened up and transformed into a large swimming platform.
