New boats: 12.80m 2010 Rio 42 Art yacht

12.80m 2010 Rio 42 Art yacht was presented at the Winter Naples boat show by North Italian Rio. This totally new model powered with stern drive propulsion versus line shaft of the older model. Chaparral 310 Signature is a new boat launched by USA builder Chaparral. It follows up the 400 Premiere flagship launched in 2008, and combines all advantages of Chaparral patented Wide Tech technology. The 310 Signature promises lots of innovations - style, more storage space, higher cabin headroom, and further performance. The 310 features two cockpit seating options, a new cabin door, carefree single level cockpit, redefined helm seating and the fine workmanship.Chaparral 310 Signature new boat imageThe aft cabin has considerably more headroom than previous offerings and a clever optional air mattress system in the salon eliminates old-fashioned filler cushions on a boat that introduces a space saving power ease forward berth that retracts at the flip of a switch. An over sized LCD television is mounted on a swivel bracket for viewing in both the salon and forward berth. Fittings are in lighter wood tones of Chaparral's River Cherry cabinetry. New boats: 50m Baracuda Sailing Yacht

50m Baracuda Sailing Yacht is a limited edition boat built by Ron Holland Design in cooperation with Perini Navi. Baracuda, a 50m aluminium ketch, was launched in October 2008 and it was nominated for the 2010 World Superyacht Awards for "Best Sailing Yacht in the 45 meter range. New boats: 26.85m Abacus 86

Sicilian yacht builder Abacus launches new boat - 26.85m Abacus86 flagship. Designed by Fulvio de Simoni is a super yacht with a waterline length of just under 24 metres, meaning it can still be driven by those in possession of a yacht master licence. The Abacus 86 offers a spacious four cabin layout with owners suite to mid ship, VIP to fore, and two guest cabins in between. The Abacus 86 is powered by twin Cats of 1825hp each which give a top speed of 33 knots, and a cruise of 30 knots. Rather fast considering the horse power and displacement of the new Abacus super yacht.
